JUNE 21 - Think Outside of the BOX
Find some cardboard and let your imagination go! Build, create and make your own personal costume strictly out of cardboard. Use your imagination and creativity to develop your own interpretation of Think Out of the BOX! Then, come to the June Front Porch Concert and share your inspiration as you walk High Street entertaining the crowd. This will be a GREAT night of music and fun with the visual arts!
JULY 19 - Hometown Statuesque
We are looking for Actors, Artists or Creative persons to be a part of our July Front Porch Concerts Series…as Human Statues. Do you like to fish, golf, cook, dance, pretend, play-act? Can you stand perfectly still for several minutes at a time? Then this activity is for you. Come join us as we assemble our own High Street Venue of Hometown Sculptures. Come and be a baseball pitcher, a person sitting in a chair reading a paper, or perhaps simply extending a hand for friends, guests and visitors to “wonder” if they can shake it. It’s fun for all. What a fun night this will be with local music and unique visual arts!
Hats! Build a Hat! Make a Hat! BUT your hat cannot be any regular hat. Using only “Found Objects” create and build your own One-of-a-Kind head covering. Using any recycled materials use your imagination to bring into being the most awesome head topper never seen before. Strut your stuff as you stroll down High Street, acknowledging the Oohs and Ahhs as spectators marvel at your creative initiative and skillful craftsmanship. Come and be a part of a fun evening of imagination and creativity with music and the visual arts.

This “No Cost” opportunity permits any artist or craft persons to show, sell, demonstrate, advertise or share their creative skills. Participants can only use one table, 6’ to 8’ in length for their setup. Easy to load-in! Easy to load-out! Got a new product to share, test, or introduce, this would be a great activity to have your creativity viewed and even sold. No risk to you. No cost to you. If you are a veteran crafter, come and set up a “sample” table of specific and selected items to sell. Let this community and visitors to the Front Porch Concert Series see and experience the vast abilities of our visual artists and the uniqueness this community has to offer. This is simply a time to share your creative ability and be a part of this fun evening of music and the visual arts.
